Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the OneDishMealCo website (onedishmealco.com), our ordering service, and our communications with you over WhatsApp. By placing an order or messaging us, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
OneDishMealCo prepares and delivers a single home-style dish each day within our serviceable delivery zone in Bangalore. The day's dish, availability, and price are stated on the website and confirmed at the time of ordering.
2. Orders
- Orders are placed via WhatsApp. Your order is confirmed once we send a confirmation message with the total and ETA.
- Daily orders close at 6:30 PM. Orders after that may be deferred to the next day.
- We may refuse or cancel an order if the dish has sold out, the address is outside our delivery zone, or we suspect fraudulent activity. In such cases, any payment made will be refunded in full.
3. Pricing & payment
- Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes and stated at the time of order.
- Payment is collected via UPI, card, or other supported methods at the time of order confirmation, or at delivery for cash-on-delivery.
- We do not store full card details. Payments are processed by our payment partner.
4. Delivery
We deliver within a 7 km radius of our kitchen. Estimated time is 45 minutes from order confirmation; actual time may vary with traffic and weather. If delivery is significantly delayed (over 30 minutes past the ETA), contact us — we'll make it right.
5. Refunds & food quality
We care about every plate we send. If something is wrong with your order — wrong item, missing item, or quality issue — message us within 2 hours of delivery with a photo, and we will refund or replace the item. We don't accept refund requests for taste preference alone, since the dish description is published in advance.
6. WhatsApp communications
When you message us or opt in to receive messages from us, you understand that:
- We use the WhatsApp Business Platform and follow WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy and Commerce Policy.
- Transactional messages (order confirmation, delivery updates, receipts) are sent only after you place an order or explicitly opt in.
- Marketing messages (such as the optional today's-dish nudge) are sent only if you opt in to marketing specifically. Frequency is capped at one message per day.
- You can opt out at any time by replying
STOP. We process opt-outs within 24 hours and will not message you again on that channel until you opt in afresh. - Standard WhatsApp messaging rates from your carrier may apply.
- We do not send unsolicited promotional messages.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Place fraudulent orders or use stolen payment instruments.
- Abuse our staff or delivery partners.
- Resell our food or use it for commercial catering without written agreement.
- Spam our WhatsApp number or attempt to disrupt our messaging service.
We may suspend or block customers who violate these rules. Repeated or severe violations may be reported to law enforcement.
8. Intellectual property
The OneDishMealCo name, logo, photography, recipes (where original), and website content belong to OneDishMealCo Pvt. Ltd. You may not reproduce them commercially without our written permission.
9. Limitation of liability
We aim for quality but cannot guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including for food safety).
10. Allergen notice
Our kitchen handles dairy, gluten, peanuts, tree nuts, and other common allergens. Cross-contamination is possible. If you have a serious allergy, please tell us before ordering — we'll be honest about what we can and can't safely prepare for you.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
